What is Doodlebugz Studio?
Doodlebugz Studio is a great place to find your inner artist, you know the one that you had as a kid. At Doodlebugz you get to make your own unique design and learn again how much fun it is to see what your imagination and creativity can make. You come to the relaxing studio and select a piece of pottery-it's already a blank slate since it's white and it's called bisque, and then you paint in any color you'd like and in any style, using any techniques that interests you. Don't worry, there's idea books and sample pieces to get you started if you need them. When you are finished creating, your piece of art will dry and then be fired behind the scenes in the kiln. Acutally, the kiln isn't behind the scenes at all-you can see it through this big window in the Children's Room. Anyways, you come back in seven days and ta-da...you're piece is ready for pick up. There's no studio fees so take as long as you'd like. You only pay for the piece of pottery which includes the paint you put on your piece and the firing process. There are over 1500 pieces to chose from starting in the $2.00 range for tag-a-longs all the way to large platters at a reasonable price. It's fun, it's simple...oh yeah and it's for everyone so bring your friends, your children, your new baby, your grandmother, I can even make a special appointment with you if you want to bring your dog in to make that special pawprints keepsake. Seriously, we can do that at Doodlebugz!
