So here is a great gift idea for you: Request that Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and others in your family purchase a gift certificate for you or your children for those special days in your life. Gift Certificates are great for Birthdays, Mother's Day, Christmas and so many more....

While you are at Doodlebugz, you can create unique, homemade, thoughtful gifts for those special people in your life. Nothing says "I care about you" like a homemade gift. Really.

Here's some ideas to get you started but you can give away anything you create-if you can part with it. Just ask my Mom, who's wearing my favorite glass fused pendant that she received for Mother's Day this year.

You could also:

Create a mug and saucer and fill it with a special blend of coffee or hot chocolate.
Giving a piece of jewelry as a gift? How about that new, glass fused pendant you just created?Why not create a custom box to store your beautiful gift!

The paint is washable, non-toxic and you'll thank me for it when your precious little one is making mud tracks through your house in cleats someday. WARNING-You may want to make two items though since this one is surely going to be the hardest thing to give away and you'll want one for yourself.

Is your child already in school or playing a team sport? Then do I have ideas for you for those teachers and coaches who give so much time and positive energy to our kids. They love unique gifts that kids create to say "thank you" for caring.

How about a thumbprint plate with everyone's thumb print on it? How? You can purchase enough supplies to bring this plate to the classroom or practice and then bring it back to the studio for firing. Please allow atleast 3 weeks though since we all know this is going to be alot of work but the results are priceless.
